MIcrobladed Eyebrows Before and After
Eyebrows are one of the most defining features of your face. And if you aren’t happy with the ones you’ve got, there are many options for changing them. Now you also have the option of a semi-permanent tattooing method known as Microblading. Microblading produces a very natural often undetectable fringe as opposed to the sometimes-overbearing appearance of permanent tattooing. Microblading is the perfect solution for defining brows, filling in over-plucked brows, adding arches, or darkening brows. Results can last up to 3 years.
About the Microblading Procedure
Microblading eyebrows is performed in the office using a topical anesthetic. Injectable anesthetic is available on request. Most often, the first hour is spent determining the shape of the brow with a removable pencil. After the shape is determined, the topical numbing cream is applied. Some patients may feel some slight discomfort during the procedure, which is why an injectable anesthetic is available upon request. But most patients report little to no pain during the procedure. During the procedure, small hair-like lines of ink are embedded into the skin using a special microblading pen. The ink is not embedded all the way down to the dermis layer, thus allowing for a finer line and more realistic hair-like results. Each “hair” is drawn individually one by one.
One of the best parts of the procedure is that there is no downtime! You walk out of the office with beautiful, well-shaped brows. For the first three days, keep an anesthetic applied several times a day. The healing process will take up to 25-40 days. After that point, you will return for a follow-up appointment. During that follow-up appointment, any touchups that are needed will be performed.
Unlike eyebrow extensions which require very careful maintenance, microbladed eyebrows are very low maintenance. Once fully healed, you can rub them, swim, and do just about anything. A yearly touch-up is recommended to keep them looking ideal.
Microblading Eyebrows Cost
Eyebrow microblading is completed in two sessions. The total cost of the two sessions is $500.
