Men and women who are unsatisfied with their underdeveloped, naturally thin, flattened or aging buttocks can choose gluteal implants to fill out the upper portion of their buttock. Patients can also choose fat injections (Lipostructure) to increase the overall size of the buttock area. These options can be used separately or combined for optimal enhancement.
About the Procedure
The procedure is done on an outpatient basis under general anesthesia. For the Gluteal Implant, a small incision is made in the mid-line buttock crease just above the tail bone and pockets developed between the layers of the glutenous muscles. The solid but soft implant is placed in this pocket where it is protected by muscle both above and below.
Lipostructure of the buttock involves extensive liposuction of the abdomen, hips and other areas for the donor fat, and very careful injections into the areas which need to be enhanced.
Tape and a support garment are placed at the conclusion of the procedure. The tape remains for several days while the garment must be worn for 4 to 12 weeks. Any exercise of the lower body should be avoided for one month along with sleeping on the back. Even sitting is avoided for the first two weeks with lipostructure. A return to work in two weeks is possible but activities must be limited.
A balanced and more prominent buttock area which complements your overall figure. A natural enhancement to the buttock area which improves self-esteem and your appearance in clothes, bathing suits and nude. Lipostructure can create a very large buttock with a desirable shape as well.
